昨天，台灣在自由貿易上邁出重要的一步。
我們正式遞交申請加入 #跨太平洋夥伴全面進步協定 (CPTPP)，蔡英文總統表示這反映了我們致力於促進亞太自由貿易的承諾，也相信台灣加入後能夠為區域跟全球帶來經濟發展。
台灣會做好充足的準備，按照自己的節奏與步調，為區域經濟做出具體貢獻。
#Taiwan has officially applied to become a part of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
President Tsai Ing-wen tweeted on the move, stating “Taiwan's bid to join the #CPTPP reflects our commitment to promoting free trade in the Asia-Pacific. I am confident that our membership in this deal would strengthen joint economic development & benefit people across the region & the world.”
Taiwan will put the necessary preparations in place so that we can make concrete contributions to the regional economy.
昨日台湾はCPTPPへの加盟を正式に申請しました。蔡英文総統が言うように、台湾は長年にわたってCPTPPのような質の高い自由貿易協定に参加する準備を進めてきました。
台湾は世界貿易機関（WTO）のメンバーの一員として活躍し、ICTや半導体などの産業は世界経済に欠かせない存在となっています。台湾がCPTPPに加盟すれば、アジア太平洋、ひいては世界経済に貢献できます。CPTPP加盟国ともウィンウィンの関係を成り立たせることができると信じています。
